It seems like Sarah Jessica Parker was looking skinnier than ever dropping two dress sizes in recent months.

The Sex and the City actress was spotted in New York looking thinner than ever.Her toned arms were replaced by sinewy arms and bulging veins. Sarah Jessica Parker friends are claiming she has become obsessed with dieting and gym.

“She’s always been health conscious, but this is a whole new level,” a friend of Sarah Jessica Parker told Closer magazine.

“She’s worried she’s looking old and feels she needs to up her workout regime to stay healthy, but it’s as though she’s become obsessed.” (source)

Sarah Jessica Parker sings on track for Sex and the City 2

The girls of "Sex and the City" are no longer satisfied with looking good; they are now intent on sounding good too.

Sarah Jessica Parker, Kim Cattrall, Kristen Davis and Cynthia Nixon will sing Helen Reddy's "I Am Woman" for the "Sex and the City 2" soundtrack, Eonline.com reports.

Sarah Jessica Parker. I have always loved Sex and the City – the TV series. I’ve re-watched episodes, defended it to boys, and even made those same boys watch an episode. Sex and the City the movie…I thought was horribly depressing and totally not in the same vein of the show. I did not enjoy it. But it made loads of cash, so they’re making another one. I very much admire and respect Sarah Jessica Parker, and the other SATC ladies. And the writers, and crew, and everyone. "Sex & The City" star Sarah Jessica Parker is heading back to the small screen -- the actress is producing a reality TV competition for artists in the U.S.

Sarah Jessica Parker has signed a deal with Bravo network to produce "Work of Art: The Next Great Artist" with her Pretty Matches production company. The show will pit 14 artists against each other as they compete to land a solo show at the Brooklyn Museum in New York and a $100,000 cash prize.

Judges will include art critic Jerry Saltz, Half Gallery owner Bill Powers and art adviser Jeanne Greenberg Rohatyn. Sarah Jessica Parker "Work of Art: The Next Great Artist" is set to air on June 9. (source)

Sarah Jessica Parker has hinted that there could be more Sex and the City movies in the pipeline. She returns to the role of Carrie Bradshaw next month with the release of Sex and the City 2, which comes two years after the success of the first movie.

Speaking to MSN the actress said: "I think the beauty of a character like Carrie Bradshaw is because of the nature of her work there are always things for her to explore because Sarah Jessica Parker curious about the world."
